Face Your Fears

I'm not smart enough. I don’t have enough money. I'm not talented. I'll never amount to anything. My idea won’t work.
The truth is, we have all had self doubt at some point and sometimes it is hard not to become consumed by the negativity but if we choose to have a little more self-belief, we can push through that barrier, break the cycle and become so much more than we ever imagined.
It won’t be stress-free, it won't be overnight but like most successful people will say, nothing worth having comes easy.
A lot of facing your fears is about being out of your comfort zone and this is the best place to become successful. Many entrepreneurs took a risk to get to where they are today, not because they knew it was going to work out but rather because they weren’t afraid to fail. The difference is, they saw the risk, they felt the fear but they did it anyway.
We aren’t all programmed to react in this way and that is why we aren’t all millionaires. It takes a certain type of person (as we discussed in last weeks blog) but there are small changes that we can make in order to progress and enhance our business and it is actually a very easy one to do… Say Yes More!
Okay, so realistically we can’t say yes all of the time but if you increase this simple positive action, you will find more opportunities present themselves to you and whether this is purely a numbers game or not, it is well worth making this adjustment.
When you start saying yes and opening yourself up more, you will also find that your circle becomes bigger, you brush shoulders with people you wouldn’t have normally known, you hear about things that you wouldn’t have otherwise and you are invited to new events that can open up further opportunity.
